    Default silver trim

    wondering if anyone can help. the silver trim on the doors has got what look like water marks on them but they just dont come off! has anyone got any ideas how i can get them nice and shiny again?

    Like the marks on a windshield?
    You could try white vinegar diluted with water....try on a non too visible area to se how that works on the trim....

    its like water marks when the water has dried and leaves white dots. i will try that failing that i might try and find some replacement ones

    when i got my 07 veccy the chrome strips on the doors ( bottom of window) were marked with well I can only derscribe it as a chalky water mark. Luckily they were replaced foc, so I assume that replacing them is probably easier than cleaning. Bit annoying that a car registered in March already has bits needing to be replaced

    If you search for Chrome strips or Window trims there is a few threads about this. I think its a manufacturing fault and VXL did pay for some or part of replacement items.
    Although some people have had good results using different cleaning products.
