Thieving little gypsies!

On putting the car in this morning to have the centre seat belt repaired, I instructed the dealers if they could clean through the air con cos it was really starting to smell when not in use (which is rare nowadays!) i picked the car up this afternoon and pay'd the outstanding £25.52!!!!

£6.78 for the air con treatment, and a further £18.74 for them to investigate it!! But I already told them how and when it happened and how bad it was I even told them that i had treated it before!!! So how can they justify £20 to investigate the problem!! I expressed my disgust and the sales person said he was sorry but he just books things in!!

Are the engineers so badly paid!?!?!

The engineers aren't paid that well, but the dealer wants to maximize his profits.

I will be very cross in deed if the fault returns shortly. Might jus stick to doing the previously stated site version of using a can of neutradol and spraying in to the airfilter!!! cheaper and you don't lose the car for the whole day!

I think i would ve had to f**k them right off because you did n t ask them to investigate anything.You told them what the problem was therefore your the one that investigated it.

I was reading somewhere that the mechanics get £10 an hour and the dealers charge £90 per hour.And then you wonder why they have nice big shiny showrooms?

haha I get that all the time.... mcfly!!! Thinl I shall do that next time but the smell just kept getting worse after the aircon was switched off!!. I know I'm tempted to go back and have words but don't wanna hinder any future problems!! Haven't even made sure it has worked yet as the wife has the car!!
