You can increase/decrease the performance on the box by turning the little screw on the back.

But what do all the settings do/mean.

I assume that the centre setting is the default setting?
And this default provides an increase in power over standard?

Depends which version of box it is m8. If it the CR1 type you turn them "anti-clockwise" to increase performance. Be careful though, too many turns and the ECU will detect overfuelling and the spanner light will come on
