Default How much to add another named driver to a Direct Line policy?

Going to phone them up this afternoon when I get a minute free and ask, but I just wondered if anyone has recently added another named driver to an insurance policy?.

With Direct Line and I've already got my fiancee down as a named driver.

I want to add my wee sister ( her and her fiancee had their Subaru WRX stolen last week, I posted about it here ) and we are looking to let them borrow our wee Punto to get about in until they get the insurance for their Scooby sorted out.

How much am I talking about, roughly, to add her on to the policy for the Punto?. Any ideas?. Does it cost a fortune to do so or is it a case of an extra 30-40 quid or something like that?.

    Cheers.

I went on my m8's Mini Cooper S for the remaining of his policy (10 months) while I was waiting for my car to arrive and it cost me £25

Just called them to add wee sis on, increase of £38 on my premium for her to be added for 12 months as my renewal is on the 15th of this month.

It'll be a short term thing anyway once they get the insurance for their Scooby sorted so I can remove her from the named drivers list once they get that sorted and give us the puddle jumper back.

Part of that cost will probably be an Admin fee and there will probably be an admin fee to remove her too so for what you'd get back it may not be worth taking her back off again until next renewal!
