Default A question on selling cars

Doesnt anyone know of alternative ways (or places) of selling cars other than the usual part ex or selling private?

If I was to buy a car private and needed the cash for my car, am just wondering the options. I obviously could sell private, but if you need the cash in a hurry, then this could be a problem. Also its a load of hassle for not a lot more............

    Ideas?

some garages will buy your car from you, just drive in and haggle and sell.

    Rock bottom prices paid though.

    Auction? with a reasonable reserve?

    Hi
Once sold a car through webuyanycar.com. they give you an online price and you take it to your local carcraft where a mechanic just checks condition is as you stated and they look for the chassis being twisted etc (took about 20 mins). Think they budget for spending around £200 on it and if they think it needs more that it comes off the online valuation price. I thought it was a con but was a really easy deal. Granted it was less than a private sale but having the cash in hand meant I wasnt tied to just buying from a garage and obviously I didnt have the hassle of advertising etc. Think theres also a wewillbuyyourcar.com too but I havent used them (yet). HTH.

exaclty.. The site looks remarkably like YES car credit or some rubbish like that, where the car is sold on for LUDICROUS money.
