Drivers door mirror

Does anyone know the cost of this for a SRi from VX?

I was quoted £130 by a dealer to replace it, they said it was £35 for the body of the mirror as the rest could be salvaged from my old mirror. Thing is they told porkies, they said the labour was high because the mirror plugged in halfway down the door, meaning they have to remove the door card etc to get at it. I've since found out that isn't the case !

To sort mine out, paint it an labour was about £170....................

Won't know until I get home this evening, though the word she used was obliterated amongst others!!!!

Well if the motor inside is still working, all you'd need on top of my one are the two covers. Anyway, let me know if it's any use.

I take it your missus whacked it off?????

I don't know how many mirrors my mum has smashed off.......

She won't drive my car because she's scared of hitting the mirrors!!
