Default Anyone heard of Kumho tyres

Went to my local tyre fitter today for a price on two front boots. (215/50/17) After going through a list of makes and prices he recommended a set of Kumho's for just under £180. He said that they are good quality. The only thing is I have never heard of them. Im on a tight budget at the moment so the price is right. Has anyone out there heard of them?

I`ve had khumos before, they are ok in the dry, not great in the wet to be honest. I would reccomend Falkens if you are looking for a decent cheap tyre .

I've heard of Kumho's... they specialise in motorsport tyres (For race and rally). I have a whole roll of Kumho hazard tape that I aquired marshalling the Kumho Championship Rally a couple of years back!

Kumho tyres were fitted with my wheel & tyre package and Mrs D is spot on. They are very good in the dry, but not so good in the wet.

I have had 26,000 miles from them so far though.
