Default Retro fitting a VX Bluetooth Kit

    Anybody know the following:
    1. How many separate/individual looms there are in the Vec C Facelift?
    2. If these are in sections?
    3. Can they be fitted without removing the dash?
I'm after changing my loom to one that will allow me to do the upgrades I want and don't mind if it means taking out the interior to do it, but I don't want to remove the dash (just yet).

The mods I'm after to start with are rear electric windows and bluetooth.

And yes, I know, I should have bought a car with them on....but I didn't have the luxury of having a lot of time to shop for one with all that.

I used to work in motor trade 17 years ago and changing a loom then was a massive job .can `t see it being any easier now.Did nt just need the dash out but the whole interior as well as some of engine bay.

There is a how to for retrofitting the bluetooth system over on a German forum. Mine has it so if you need any part numbers for the bits involved give me a shout. You don't need to bother with the cradle holder that replaces the cup holder as I have removed mine.

Thanks Paul, was going to ask you as you seem to have done pretty much all the mods..

Has yours been retro fitted then?

No, mine was factory fitted. It seems quite straight forward from the 'how to' i read. The most expensive part is the UHP control box that sits behind the storage tray. Then a few looms to go on top. Get a price for the UHP box and let me know i'll see if I can get it cheaper.
