Mould!!

Washing the car on Sunday and noticed some mould growing on the inside of the rear light cluster. Its only at the bottom corner next to the rear panel and even with a high power washer, could not shift it. Looks like I will need to remove the light cluster to get at it, if it gets any worse!

Any one else noticed this?

A lot of us have noticed it, I don,t think anyone has come up witha remidy for removing it ,but we will be pleased if someone has.

i have the same problem, must be moisture which settles in he corner

I had this very same problem with my mine. To be honest I just lived with it.

You could go down the road of breaking the seal and cleaning out the internals and re-sealing it again, but is it worth the hassle and probable breakages?

Thinking about it, it could be a money spinner for someone with the correct knowledge and skills, offering a one for one swap.

Yep, pretty common problem I think, there is someone on here that took his lights off, cleaned them out and put a bit of clear silicon in the gap, afaik this cured it, I just gotta get round to taking it all apart.

How funny, i noticed mine at the weekend after it was cleaned too!

Are the lense's detachable??

No I don,t think so they all come out as a unit, you would need to break the seal..

take the light bulbs out and JET WASH lol..
