    Mental.

    And it's £230,000!!!!!

Not very reliable either. Clarkson mentioned the previous problems including the fire with Jason Plato, then he has the floor come loose on it and then a fuel problem.

Think they need to knock a couple of zero's off that crazy price tag.

And that screwball German bloke on rollers blades with 3 Jet engines strapped to his back! That was a right scream.

Snowman, you got your ears on?

I think that thing needs a lot more testing and development. Its acting like a prototype........ (maybe it is?)

I have been following the development of the T1 in Evo magazine, its been beset by nothing but trouble since day one. Gordon Murray is behind it ( the man that brought us the Maclaren F1) and its his "vision" of a perfect supercar, ie light and ****ing fast.......

Another top show though..........nice to see the car beating all other forms of transport too

The Stig certainly managed to make it go round the track very nicely, but Clarkson's spins were probably representative of what would happen if non-racing drivers tried it (i.e. most of us here!).

Also, it seemed to need half an F1 crew just to keep it going. I counted about 6 at one point, one with a laptop hooked in...

Six people to start a road car to trundle down to the shops?

At what about at the other end, when you want to start it up in Sainsbury's car park having stowed your one bag of shopping?

No mention of it being dangerous to drive, unlike how he slated the VXR, which just goes to prove engines are in excess of the science of suspension and tyres at this point in time.

Thought Simion Cowell was a bit too up himself for my liking, it was good to watch the bantering between he and JC and he is actually one poncy person who can actually drive a car, you could see he was gonna get top place just from his roadcraft during the lap, but the bit where he said "but I look good" did it for me, we can all look good if we spend enough having it pulled up and new teeth tbh, still knowing what he's like it was probably just keeping up his screen image anyway.

as much as I hate to say it though he kinda was right. As much as most dislike the man he is superb at what he does, which is manufacture talent, and therefore money......(wish I had the same talent, could handle being a git for that sort of money)

Anyone else wonder if the hand gesture from another driver was more aimed at him than the R8? lol

Yeah, and almost getting flattened by bus after bus!

All a total setup of course. Anyone who lived in London would have been able to whip Clarkson, Hammond & Captain Slow using purblic transport. I mean, the district line???? Jeez! You take the Bus South to Richmond, pick up the main line to Waterloo, then the Jubilee Line to Canning Town & DLR to the airport. The way the Stig went would be about 30 minutes slower... Still funny!

Bring back Helen Macarthur. Can't let Cowell sit at the top of the list!

I think that may be open to a bit of debate!! I thought talent was something you either had, or hadn't - not something that could be manufactured?! <all said with tongue firmly in cheek>
