i'm a bit confused

as per title, the reason being is i can't decide on what to do for the best concerning my work car.........

i currently have an R' reg 1.8LS vectra-b estate with 86K on the clock, that will shortly need new brakes all around, new rear suspension and poss a new ABS unit...........

as some of you know i am looking for a ZAFIRA diesel under 3K (oh if only) that is untill today when i saw a mint and i mean a mint W'reg vec-b estate, same spec as mine a 1.8LS ( envoy ) 10 months mot, 5 months tax, colour coded bumper's and sri wheel's, owned by a valleter for the past 2 yrs and was originaly from the guy's who are selling it again, he will take my car in a px (£750.00) and want's £1250.00 for it, the only snag is that it has done nearly 114K and i'm not sure about this as it seem's very high for a petrol engine, has had a cam belt and a full service but i dont know what to do........

can any of you offer any word's of advice please as i am going out of my mind

yes if thats only £500 then i would probably go for it fella but on the other hand it has done alot of miles

sorry, it is going to cost me £1250.00 on top of my car as px, only thing is if mine does need a new ABS unit on top of the other stuff, i bet i wont get much change from a grand hence the dilemma

As long as the vec b has been looked after, belt's changed and serviced at the right time then it will late at least another 100k no prob's . It might be chepper in the long run if your A,B,S unit is shot. See if you can knock him down a bit more

going to talk to the ex-owner tomorrow and see ecactly what history it has, but have been told it has had a recent service-cam belt-mot

ben you know me..it has to be clean and shiney as i also have to use it to ferry the kid's around in, and occasionaly use it for camping trip's to carry the push bike's on, and i dont want people getting the idea i am some rough 4r5e tramp........
