    Default Door sills

I've got a set of the Vectra sills on the car which i'm wanting to take off for the new car. I take it they are just stuck on?

What's the best way to remove them without damaging them?

I would assume so. I think they are just stuck on with glue. Once you have got them off, just use some tar remover to remove any traces of the glue on the sills. Are you going to sell them as i would be interested?

Heat them up with an hair dryer , it will soften the glue and make it a bit easier to take the sills off.
Then clean with tar remover as mentioned or your missus nail varnish remover.

If there are the original vauxhall ones as fitted to my old elegance proved impossible to remove flat so I gave up & got a new set off ebay for £20, the cheaper ones are usually stuck on with a few double sided pads so should come off easily
