Default Spoonilocks and the three Bilsteins....

Once upon a time their lived a spoon who occasionally had to visit his granny in the countryside.

His granny got up to all sorts of mischief and occasionally the spoon had to visit to see what granny was up to.

But whilst on his visit he came across a garage with a sign outside saying 888.

What could be in the garage spoons thought... the door was open so he went in....

There on the table was a brand new set of bilstein dampers. Wow spoons thought, wonder if they'll fit... so he tried the first set...

Ooooo was far too soft and although 'sporty' it still allowed his car to roll around too much. Far too limo like and not really confidence inspiring on fast roads.

So he tried the next set of Bilstein dampers which was far to hard and although 'sporty' it crashed and banged through pot holes and skitted on fast 'B' roads... but it was excellent for fast road and track use.

So he then tried the third set of Bilstein dampers which were just right... !! Perfect for fast road and 'B' roads, they stayed firm over bumps without being crashy and although it rolls slightly more, still gives massive confidence in fast sweeping turns.

Just then the three 888's came through the door with a bill. This startled spoons who ran out of the garage as fast as his wheels would carry him.

Yeah, I think so.... very nice indeed.

I also really like the last set, but you had to be vigilant and not drive over pot holes, cos it really did 'crash' !!...

Diana also prefered the last setup as it really was 'track' ready.

These new dampers are firm, but absorb more, so they will appeal more to the masses.... and whoever gets my car next....

I personally really like this new setup.... very good

Hmmm, looks like I'll be spending some Crimbo money on Billies then, Like I've said elsewhere, Mine has got a bit of wayward body control at speed, plus it skips about on drain covers, potholes and ridges.
