    Default Winter Smoker!

For the past few weeks I have been thinking of a way to avoid driving my Vec C through slush, snow and salted roads this year. Yesterday I found the answer.

Came in as a Part Ex at work. It wasn't dear so plan to sell in the spring and 'try' to get my money back.

Its a 97P 2.0 16v Sport or GLS done up as a sport, not quite sure what it is yet lol

No just the black plastic ones. If I stumble upon a set cheap I may fit them.

I have no intention to wreck it over the winter just drive it. It will still be washed etc, then next year I'll give what we call at work the 'full works' Ie. Spend a week or so machining the paintwok and really make it look as close to new as possible prior to selling.

Sorry, but don't understand why you would take such a large step back wards, just to avoid the slight winter we get here in UK. Seems a little excessive to me to buy a car so you don't have to drive your Vec C for a couple of weeks. Each to their own.

I'm thinking of getting a second VX for myself now.... when I start my new job I'm gonna be piling on the miles, so I'm thinking of getting an old Corsa Diesel, or maybe something like an Astra Van, just for the daily commute.

I can see your reasoning Stewie, so long as you do make a few quid when you sell it in the Spring.
