Dodgy Light Sensor...

I've noticed that my light sensor warning comes on and goes off. Anyone had this?

As in lamp warning? Double check the bulb and make sure its the correct one you check if its a brake light as the car will use another lamp in its place - clever safety feature

That's what i thought at first, but his profile says a 2002 model so I ruled that out.

Sorry Guy's had to leave to do some work.... yeah its the lamp warning. Had it few months ago when the front N/S main beam went. Only comes on during a few seconds when I'm traveling downhill going at about 50-60 mph. Not too sure will check the lights tonight.

I had several bulb warnings but the bulb was ok, at the end apparently the bulb was kind of loose in it`s socket....try to tight it and check the electrical connection for good contact HTH

I think your right rob. It is very inconsitant. I'll have a good check around. Also my rear driver's side light unit has a crack in it so the contact maybe dodgy there.

Do you have front fog lights?
My harness connector in the front bumper was all corroded and some pins became non existent, hence light not working and warning indicators coming on all the time. Started on very intermitantly but became permanant.
