    Default Power Tune Scotland

Hi Guys, Does anyone on here know anything about the Company above.
I've got a quote off them for a re-map, been told I can get 18bhp and 22nm of torque, does that sound about right. They've also said it would be £400 to do the job but it means taking my ECU out because they can't re-map it througth the diagnostic port. They did say thought that they would come and remove it and it would take 48 hours for the work to be done.

    What do you think.

my opinion no that dos'nt sound right you should be able to get around 240bhp with a remap asuming you have a performance exhaust, filter etc. Big phil i think has 247bhp from his gsi has iridium plugs etc. The re-map is done through the tec 2 port so the ecu need'nt come out. Price sound's about right though. Try regal or maybe 888. I would defo look around first before commiting Just had a quick look HERES the regal one 235bhp

yep.. as above..the GSi's ECU can be done via the OBDII port, so to take the ecu apart is a bit extreme.. i think they must reflash the chip at board level..it's not much gain for a permanent ( if things go wrong) remap..it'll also be a generic map,, better to go for a livemap..

Why don't you try Seditas in Prestwick? They are superchip dealers and are very knowledgeable.

I think I'm going to listen to you GSI 3.2, I 'd rather get the live map, then I know i'm getting the best I can for my money.

I'll call Seditas in the morning see what they can do for me, cheers In a states.
