    Default Glad And Sad !!

First of all glad for the families of the missing firefighters that now they can move on to making arrangments , but so so so sad that four of my colleuges will no longer be here to serve their communities like they would have hoped for years to come .
my heart goes out to their loved ones now .

The only thing we can do now I think is, thank them for being the kind of person devoted to help others, risking themselfs, and putting their lives at the line every day to save lives.

TBH, as dangerous as a job it can be at times i would swap my job tomorrow to go back into the service.......and i REALLY mean that!

Bl00dy irregular heartbeat.......damn Annoying part is that it does not affect me in any way. Just a ruling within the service.

Members of all our Emergency Services for the most part are taken for granted. Unfortunately it is only tragic events such as this that make the public realise the dedication and service that these people provide each day.

I am glad that the families can now lay to rest their loved ones.

I second that only recently there was an epsiode in a certain area of the city i live in that youths set fire to a car & rolled it down a street into someones garden. When the fire brigade turned up they threw stones & abuse at them. How low can people get doing this sort of thing. Total respect to the emegancy services. They might need to save my life one day & yours.

How ironic and coincidental is this?.....

I started back my first dayshift today and we ended up attending this:-

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/mediaselector/c...bram=1&nbram=1

Nothing whatsoever on the scale of Warwickshire, but still a serious incident.

I'm in the 3rd pic climibing the ladder on the right with the BA set on, no idea who took the picture!!

And here was me looking for a quiet first shift back.

    Default My Sympathies

    Hi Guys

My sympathies to all. I know that you become one large family when you team up in such demanding circumstances and tragedies like this make everyone realise how vunerable you are. Soon hits home.

On the subject of sc*mbags stoning emergency services Why not hit then with torrents of water from powerful hoses. You could claim self defence and I cant think of one copper would go out of their way to investigate any complaints seriously.
