just had me cluch done and now the radios gone in safe mode,how do i get my code? its the cdr 2005 so i cant do it myself.do i just ring vx? what details do i need?

haven't you got the code for it on your car pass card or in the user manual?

If you don't have your car pass then its back to VX and £15 lighter they will send it to you

yep, they'll want TO SEE the V5 and a proof of ID to that address for you.. takes around 3-5 days..

When i tried to get mine in Camden's in Leighton Buzzard in the summer, they tried to charge me £36!(Took the car back to The Car Shop and they sorted it)

Look in your servicing book for the details of where the car was first bought and give them a call. I did that recently because I never had a code card and the leasing company which owned it from new gave it to me over the phone.

Put Key In Ignition And Turn On
1. Turn Off Radio
2 Turn On Radio Leaving Your Finger On Asp Button Till You Here A Bleep And The Code Start Is Then Displayed
Button 1 Press To Start Your Code 1press =o 2presses =1 3presses =3 Ect
3. Second Number Code Use Button 2
4 .third Number Code Use Button 3
5 Fourth Number Use Button 4 Repeating Each Time As U Did With Button 1
Then Press Asp When Done Till You Hear A Bleep Then Code Is Inserted And Radio Will Scan If Correct.
Warning You Have 9 Tries Till You Block Your Radio

The Code Is On Your Car Card Or Book
