I see that petrol has gone up another penny, it seems to go up each week at the moment.I wonder what their feeble excuse is this time. I also noticed that the ASDA in Tamworth is a penny cheaper than the ASDA in Minworth???

I suppose we can blame the robbing govenment can,t we.
I read in the times today that we have never been taxed as much as we are now. soon they will want ALL of our hard earned money.

The actual price of fuel has hardly risen, despite the high price of oil. It's the massive tax that's the killer and the fact we get charged VAT on the full price. (A tax on tax...figure that out )

As the dollar is weak, and crude is quoted in dollars - that is good for us in UK and Europe as the exchange rate is now over 2 dollars to the pound.
Look at the price of crude and exchange rates over the last few years and you will notice something extremely interesting.....

I filled up my wagon today with 492 ltrs of derv at an astonishing price of £1.07 a ltr. I couldn't imagine paying that price for derv in my car. I gotta fill up tonight so hopefully i can find it for a reasonable price.

What card did you use mate?

    Keyfuels,BP, Euroshell, UK Fuels....

You wont pay the pump price on an HGV fuel card, you'll pay a set bunker price based on the forecasted amont your boss has set.EG - He will tell *** fuel company that he will be using 22000 litres a month, and they will charge him a vastly lower amount than pumo price.

My gaffer has 3 trucks, and we use combined about 2000 litres a week, and he pays 78p ish a litre, on a bunker fuel card.
