    Angry front heated seats question

    hi all me again
right do those guys at vauxhall know sometimes what there talking about.
went to the parts department and asked about the looms to connect the switches to the front seats and a price ?
i have a ls model car and have upgraded the basic seats to leather bought the switches and have the heat pads in the seats so all i need is the looms does anyone know is there a part number for this item any idea how to wire it or am i going mad

Are you sure you haven't already got them? I thought all the earlier models had the wiring there so that all you needed was the switches and the pads. I thought it was only on the facelift/late pre-facelift that the loom wasn't there.

Have you looked under your seat to see if the plug is there?

I'm a Vauxhall parts person and will be doing the same thing, as far as I could tell the plugs supposedly should be in the dash already but I haven't had a chance yet to take my dash to bits to look yet, but the system is very confusing when it comes to working out what you need, I should know lol I'm always looking up stuff ready for mine

Wish I'd known about this site when I was sending the old Elegance back I would have stripped the heaters out of the seats, I'm sure my facelift car has the wiring for both front & rear heated seats
