Anyone know exactly what i need to satisfy warranty with regards to servicing,Due for second service in feb and reckon on quote of £250 as steep if only oil change and check over of car.

Can any local garage do as long as genuine vx filter and oil used and have a vat reciept as proof of service

yes, and the only thing that needs doing as to not affect warranty is oil and oil filter. The service schedule is in the handbook and describes exactly what should be done - mostly checks etc.

It doesn't really need to be VX parts, just up to the same standard, although I would use VX bits

yep, if you use VX bits and a VAT registered garage with thier own stamp, then the warranty is intact under EC block excemption regulations....
