I read something about that inthe manual...mine doesn't do it (54 plate).
unless you have to activate it, not really sure.
I bet there be someone along shortly who knows.

iirc you need to have the memory seats to be able to have this feature. There was a thread, I'm sure, on this in the past.

It came as standard on the Elite Signum and was optional on certain models in the Vec range - Elegance/Design and Elite.

If your car does have this feature, you need to make sure the left hand mirror adjustment switch is pushed in for it to work - means you can turn it off as sometimes you don't always want it dipping in reverse.

according to my car spec it should have heated wing mirrors, yet with the frost we had overnight, i started the car early and after 20 mins the mirrors still hadnt defrosted, do you have to activate them or press the button to switch them on!!!

Correction, getting confused. This was if you wanted to have the electric folding mirrors retro fitted. The Reverse Assist mirror 'may' be able to be retro fitted Dazza, although the brochure lists it as an option only available with the multi-contour drivers seat option. Don't know if that's just marketing or some technical reason!

Err, am I? I just pick things up and retain them I suppose. Don't always get things totally right as you can see above! LOL

I wish Land Rover had thought of that with the P38 Range Rover. Select reverse and all you can see out of both mirrors is a fantastic view of the floor weather you want it or not. Most of the time they won't go back by themselves either or better still, I've driven quite a few that when reverse is sellected they go the wrong way giving a view of the clouds!
