went and bought myself a new plaything today..had to travel 300 miles round trip!

Its a 97' Subaru Impreza STI RA



Its got automatic intercooler spray, roof vent, variable diff lock (ie power front / back), roof vent, close ratio g/box etc
This is the STI RA version which means it has all the bits from an STI ie hand built engine, handling kit Plus all the RA bits which stands for RACE ALTERED ie aluminium (lightweight) boot, bonnet,wings, no central locking nor leccy windows (too much weight!).
****** ME!! i thought my 300zx twinturbo was quick but this is like holding onto a lit rocket. 0-60 times for this car according to Subaru is 4.6 secs and will do the quarter mile in 12.3.......thats standard not tuned!
will bring it along one day too the meets and i will bring the sick bags!

Was looking at a scooby before I decided on the vectra, but insurance was never goin to work. Looks great mate and I bet it goes like ****, awesome cars

Very nice, a mate of mine has an Impreza, never fails to scare me with how fast the 4WD can get you round corners!

thats one of the pics of it in japan. the service history is amazing. one owner in japan. came to england in feb 07. the owner here only drives it 2k miles!
i have a HOOGE book of every sevice in japan, original reciepts etc has only got 108 kms on clock (about 71000 miles)

Looks mint, there is a lad near me and he has the RA like yours.. they are mint and Bl00dy Fast.. Always wanted a scooby but cant live with under 20 miles to the gallon
