This is me running against a manic stripped out VW Beetle. It would have been a good race if I wasnt so heavy !!... couldnt get off the line as quick, but kept pace to the end !!...

I ran 15.523 seconds over the 1/4 mile....... in my 1.9 Diesel Vectra

If you went before the lights it would tell you...the technique is to line up second and keep rolling slowly toward the line as you reach the sweet spot the starter usually lets the christmas lights go and you're already rolling... ;>

Yeah, I did that and rolled over the start line and he told me to get back -lol

yup... and I lost £1 bet that we had

His car is very quick indeed... as he said in another thread.... on the second run I got off the line really quickly and was a car length ahead of him... then he reeled me in and overtook me just before the finish line..... arrrrrrghhh

When I was in the lead... I was going to give him the 'royal salute' through the window

.... but I didnt get the chance

I'm going to have to take out all my seats next time...

well done boys ! your motors look klike they realy fly on U.tube ! if it wer'nt for a bit of lag in first you would have been hard to beat by most of what was lined up ! did anyone else know you were both running deisels !?? you can here comments about nutrons smoking on the vid clip ! they dont appear to know !
