2 minds?

Hey guys. I have a Vectra C, petty SRi...I love the car, i love the car a lot...However, i have recently taken a liking to the Signum, i'm in 2 minds tho. I dont know wether to get rid of mine and get myself a signum, or stay how I am, Ive heard that certain Signums are very quick, and can look very sweet aswell. Which Signum is quicker than a petty SRi? I believe they do a range of Turbo Diesels? Also, any ideas on how much to put mine up for sale for? Its on an '03 plate, 46,000 miles, immaculate inside and out? Please help me swing my mind one way or tother!

the 2.2 sri is a quick car.. so to get a quicker signum ( which is a heavier car) you'll be looking at either a 2.0T or bigger model..the 19CDTi can be tuned up quite cheaply but, and it's a big BUT, the signums are a dearer car to buy than the comparable vectra's...value on yours??..around £4.5K.( paid that for the M-I-L's new car this summer, identical to yours)..

also, the signum won't handle like the sri, so you'd have to spend around £500 getting it to handle well..( the standard signum suspension is soft).

I'd be tempted to just stick with the vectra...and am i biased??.. not really.. i've got the vectra, the wife has the signum.. and she's always nicking mine..

Petty? - Petrol! They do an SRI Diesel aswell dont they? Yeah see, thing is, i really,really do like my veccy, just doesnt seem to be quite as quick as I would like. I have done the airbox mod and stuff but stuck on what to do next really. Heard the Signums can b very fast indeed, but as u said, the handling isnt quite up 2 scratch. Was even thing of dropping the veccy on sum eibachs, ive seen a set this morning which i very nearly bought, but how much work does this involve? If i can do it myself then i'll get them ordered up 2day!

Spend the money you would have to put towards the Signum and modify your SRi....

I did the exterior and the results are awesome.....

The signums can be quite fast, but they do the same engines in the veccy so they aren't any faster. Stick with petrol you don't want an oil burner Go and buy a 2.0T if you want performance
