Well the sky was clear again today, so assuming it's not wet when I get up, I'll be heading to the Pod again tomorrow. Spoons is going to meet me there for 08:00 and I'm going to leave him at the line

I've been cheating a bit actually, I've removed the back seats and I've had another remap from Red Dot. Along with the inter-cooler sprayer, she ran just over 197bhp on the remap yesterday (no tuning box). Red Dot are now selling there maps for the 1.9CDTI to the public at large but only guarantee 185bhp just to make sure there are no disappointed punters.

I'll be aiming to get under the 15 second barrier and I still have a 50p bet with Steve over who'll win the first run.

I have a full exhaust again now as well, just the cat remaining from the four boxes it started with though. So no need for me to crawly around under the car and scare poor Spoons this time.

Actually... nutrons a nutcase :P... He does anything if he thinks its going to give him even a 0.01bhp increase... I think he might win this...

lol.... he will certainly do his best trying.... its supposed to be a 'Run what you've brung' not 'Run what you've stripped out !!'

But Karl wont let ANYONE beat him in a car with the same engine.... buts that part of the fun

I've got 40 BHP less and about 30 lbft less torque... but since these figures he's done some more Nutron Power... so I'm relying on a good start on the line. But now his car is about 100 KG lighter and more power

However, having never raced at Santa Pod in my life, I have no experience of the track conditions and reaction times...

So it will be interesting to say the least.

But 'Win or Lose' at least I have my back seats in place
