    Default Colour Coded Grille

    Hey guys,

I love the look of the colour coded grille but my car is star silver, is there any pics of people who've done this on a star silver car?

Not sure whether it would make the same impact of say a black car.

Also thinking of doing the fog surrounds

Oh good, another opportunity to post pics!

Here's my previous car, which was star silver and had the body colour v-grille:

Difficult one, certainly do the fog light surrounds, the black V on my car looks superb imho, but as you say I don't think it would have the same impact on a silver car, but I'm not a fan of the bling chrome V so I'd say get it done. The chrome finished one can be sprayed a body shop did mine for £30 & it's still looking A1 after 11 months

Siross looking at the pic's of Matts old silver v grill i think it looks great. I was at first thinking maybe the chrome grill should be ok as is. But this looks much better. O yes and you need to do the fog's. Maybe even the signum chrome one's. Mine are on order to fitted in the next week or so.

I just noticed a subtle difference.

The Vauxhall badge sits on a separate part to the V-grille itself. This part can also be colour-coded but has to be specifically ordered.

Here's my car with the two pieces colour-coded:

Here's Gazza's car with the standard Vauxhall badge section:

You also get the grey diamond shape remaining in the V.

I'm sure there will be mixed views on which looks best but it's worth being aware of the options if you are planning this mod.

Sorry to say Matt the Gazza does it for me more than yours

Siross have you thought about maybe painting the V black instead and going for the contrast?
