just like people who drive with front fogs on, they sem to think they are normal everyday light and have them on with sidelights front fogs dont help you much at all compared to dipped main headligts

These type pi*s me right off!!

I like it when they do the main beam trick to me in my lorry, so when they over take me, i repay the favour, with 4 bumper mounted Spot lights rated at something like 1200w!!

ahh the great front fog light debate!! I must admit they are pretty poor for fog use, dipped heads much better, I just get annoyed at the tit who lives down my road who insists on driving everywhere with sidelights and fogs only!! I have on many occasions stopped and asked him why he does it..to have the reply 'well it looks good dunnit', Numpty is all I can say!!

I know what you mean with the fog lights but what you did by overtaking and slamming the anchors on was really really stupid imo. You never know who is in the other car, what if he had got out with a knife and stabbed you? Sorry mate but that was stupid. You can't control others driving just your own. Now I just back right off and let them pull away. Confrontation in this day and age could get you killed. I don't mean to have a go at you but for your own safety, think twice
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

On some older cars (e.g. my 1996 old Astra 'LS') if the rear foggies were on when you turned the lights/ignition off they were automatically illuminated the next time you switch on the dipped headlights, and therefore have to be turned off. On modern cars this is not the case and they have to be switched on/off independently of the dipped headlights.

I'm not even gonna get involved with this one, but I will say scrap all cars under the size of a Vectra, and fit a sensor to the steering wheel that detects when a fog lamp is needed and when not and if it detects it ain't needed it gives the tossa holding the wheel a good power shock.
