Default A bit pixxed off really

I won some mud flaps on Ebay on the 28th. Paid for them with paypal straight away. Then i get a message from the seller telling me I'd paid into his old email address and could i cancel it and send it to his other one he then provided. I thought something a bit dodgy hear. Sent a few messages back and forward. And i said how we gonna show the ebay account that it's paid. Never heard anything else. I asked Ebay to give me some advice and they said he's genuine just pay him and it's sorted. So i paid him on the 29th but it's still not been accepted if you know what i mean.
Then to top it all i messed up and left very good feedback for him by mistake. Should have been for a socket set from somebody else.
So now I'm up in the air with what to do. Cancel second payment as he has not taken it and tell him to stop messing me about. Or give him another chance and maybe loose the 38 Quid and get nothing in the post and loads of hassle with my Ebay account negative feedback possibly.

Sorry it's gone on a bit but my heads in bit's with all.
Any idea's would be great chaps.

Cancel the payment, ask him what address to send it to. Send it again. You should be covered through paypal if it doesn't arrive. If its not signed for at your end then you could claim through paypal for them not arriving and get a refund anyway!

Just got a message back saying that i've not paid. I did. So i checked on paypal again but i now see even though i put his new email address in i also had to put the item number in from ebay, to show on the account that it has been paid. But because of ebay haveing his old email address it automaticly sent the money to that address and cancel's the new address. I just sent him a message telling him to simply change the email address held on his account. It takes 2 minutes to do.
Why do people take the time to advetise things and just pi$$ about doing it all wrong i dont know. Just seams a bit dodgy to me.

Well again got message off him to say he's now sorted his ebay account to his new mail. I paid again now the 3rd time and yet again it's to his old email address. This is the only thing that makes me think he's just a muppet messing me about and not trying to rip me off. He could have taken the money but 3 times he never has.
Is their any way i can just canel everything and sod it. I tried looking through ebay about what to do but it's a mind boggler trying to understand all that mess.
