    Angry F***ing Pheasants!!!!

Ok i have somewhat of a problem, after hitting a pheasant last night, luckily it didnt take flight, i pulled over to assess the damage.

just blood on the bumber.... or so i thought.

no damage on the front of the car, but underneath is a different story.

    1. its ripped off most of the plastic shield on the bottom of the car

    2. i appear to have a leak coming from the frame just behind the engine, roughly level with the front right wheel. i did the sniff and taste check and it appears to be water. checked all fluids in the engine, they all seem fine so im hoping its condensation.

so, heres a few questions for the experts.

    1. How important is this engine shield and how much does a new one cost?

    2. What do you think this mystery leak is?

    answers on a postcard!

    Russ

It could be leaking from the washer bottle? Keep an eye on the fluid levels over the near future to be safe. I think the under shield is quite expensive

im hoping the undershield is a lonely piece of equipment found in scrapyards....... and pigs might fly lol

check the washer fluid, seems fine, im hoping its just condensation.

i thought i got luck when the pheasant went under the car!!

Think the engine trays are quite pricey from VXL.

I feel for you Russ, a year last January a pheasant flew into my windshield, instant kalaedescope effect and serious brown trouser time.

Hope you get it sorted soon.

    Regards

    Nidge.
