    Default Car misssold or not?

The other day I looked at my pollen filter and noticed it was the one it was made with. I bought the cat at 40k, It had just had its sevice. So I rang the dealer and asked why the pollen filter had not been changed. They said it had only had an oil and filter change. So I asked to speak to the salesman who sold the car to me, and asked why it had not had a full service, and he said thats all we do when we sell a car regardless of what the service book says. But he said "dont worry" bring it in on monday and we will do the rest of the service for you. The car will have done over 43k when I take it in on monday, dose that mean the warranty will be void, and if so whos fault will it be? I have signed proof that the car had a years manufactures warranty, and a years network Q

    your thoughts.........

Oil and filter is all that is needed to be done to keep warranty.

My pollen filter hasn't been changed yet and my cars done approaching 80K.

It needs doing, but I just haven;t got round to it.

To be honest, there are better things to worry about than a pollen filter. Have a read through the service book and see what exactly gets done at 40K - you may be surprised how little actually gets changed.

But if they said they would do a full service, then they should do just that.

At least they offered to do the extra work, but if they said full service then thats what it should have got. Would you be happy if you paid for a full service and all they did was the oil and filter? IMO things like servicing when thrown into the deal are a bargining point.
