2.0T edition 100 exhaust!

Yesterday noticed that left hand rear exhaust can is near on rusted through,Only the outer casing mind. It appears to be connected by two rubber hangers and clamp to exhaust system. Two questions,does anybody know if you can buy each can seperately and is it as easy as it appears to change it. Knowing VX they will only come in pairs and will be a complete mare to change.

or if you dont want a sports exhaust buy it for me and you can have mine

Thanks for the link, but can't look at it just yet as I'm using work computer and it won't allow ebay access. Will look tonite. Local stealer wants £169 +vat and sell individually BUT there are 5 yes 5 different ones to fit this car. Find it hard to believe that a so called limited edition run could have so many differences.

You can buy the rear silencers seperate, but they're not cheap so your as well to buy an aftermarket kit.

was watching a interior for the sri 100 on ebay, he was a breaker and splitting the car, just emailed him if he still has the exhaust, if he has i'll post some pics and the price 4ya

as you have found out, they are avaliable seperatly, but as of yet no-one makes pattern copies of those rear boxes..so it's either a 'sports' system for you or a VX original..

as for changing them, they're not that hard at all..undo the clamp and the hardest bit will be breaking the rust'seal' between the two pipes..you may have a little struggle, but they do come off quite easily ( i cheat and attack the outer pipe with a cutting wheel )
