Halfords - honestly! Their Pro range is good stuff - comes with lifetime gaurantee. I got their biggest set a while back and it's good stuff. They do smaller sets too. One sec, will get some links.....

How much were you looking to pay?

Just had a look. Its difficult to tell from the web site exactly all what bits/sockets are in each kit as they don't list all the contents on the web.

If you want an extensive kit, including spanners and ratchet spanners then this one will fit the bill. It's also on offer at £99.99 instead of £149.99. That's the one I've got, which I got when it was on the same offer in the past. Very nice bit of kit. Plasma, and I think Nutron too, have the same one.

couldnt justify spending that sort of money, just need a basic range - the most common size sockets to fit my half inch driver.......

Ah right - if you've already got the driver then you can pick up sets of the Torx sockets - in a strip bar - from Halfords too.

I'm sure they do a strip that has from T20 upwards. I think they are only 3/8" size though, so you'd need a 1/2" - 3/8" adapter.

If they don't do a strip, then they definitely sell then singly.
