    Default Signum Headlights....

    Hi all,
The factory fitted bulbs in my face lift signum headlights are p**s poor. Can they be changed for anything brighter - the ones on the mrs's Yaris put ti to shame!

it's easier if you take ( on the nearside) the windscreen washer filler neck out ( just pulls up ) then there is loads of room.. On the driverside remove the airbox to give you plenty of access.. it's a job for a 3 yearold otherwise as there is minimal handspace...or.. if you really don't want to struggle....remove the front bumperskin and just take the headlamp off..you can swap the bulbs in the lounge then..

You'll probably start an argument, as it's down to personal preference. Phillips Vision Plus did it for me, though. I still miss the Xenons I had in my Omega, though!

You can upgrade them, and they are fiddly, especially on the facelift cos you have to remove the whole bumper.

Sadly, you can't actually see any further with the new bulbs due to the headlamp design

You can on the pre-facelift, plus you don't need to remove the bumper. You'll need to have some antiseptic and plasters available, though........
