One last question, how do you pressure bleed the clutch, rather than pushing the pedal?
Im now having a bit of a nightmare bleeding the clutch. Ive tried the one man procedure with the pot and getting someone to press the cluctch peddle and bleeding the nipple. But however long I do it for its just air coming out. Its pressurized so i dont think there is a leak (air getting in anwhere) but its driving me nuts. Ive even tried making a pressure bleeder and attaching to the reservoir but it still just seems to be air coming out of the clutch nipple and the resevoir level doesnt drop at all. Am I doing something wrong here! I can never actually get enough pressure to flick the clutch pedal back up. The clutch had nice pressure before and brake pedal is still firm so Im thinking the master cylinder is ok Help!!
Appreciate this is a late reply, but if it is anything like my old vectra, the take off from the master cylinder resrvoir to feed the clutch circuit is high up on the side of the reservoir and hence has to be full to the brim before fluid starts to fill the clucth circuit, but I suppose you may have sorted this by now.
