    Default Concerns On Servicing Costs!

Hi i am about to buy a Vectra-c Cdti i asked all you guys on your opinions as to which engine a 3.0V6 or a 1.9 150bhp, i had pretty much made up my mind until i spoke to a mate and he said that he choose a 1.9 150bhp as the servicing costs on the 3.0V6 cdti are a lot more as this engine is a isuzu engine, Is this true and how much difference is there in servicing costs? Any help/prices we be greatly appreiciated

Shopping around various VAT registered places would be useful Iif you want to reduce the cost. You only have to use genuine VX parts and their schedule to keep the full warranty, having to go to the main stealer is not the case anymore.

I don't use dealers, never have and never will for servicing, and I do more miles than most

Not sure about you lot, but my Vectra B SRi cost more than the price of a V6CDTi, and that was only a 2.2!!
I'll agree with you there, my old veccy b (1.8gls) was more expensive to service than my current veccy c cdti 1.9.

The first service on my C was £148 inc vat, but my old b's interim was £186.

Makes you wonder who comes up with the prices, then again I reckon they just get a load of prices on a sheet of paper, close their eye's and stab them with a pen
