Drivers side seat backrest, material rubbing

My March 07 drivers side seat fabric is starting to rub and bobble on the backrest. I guess it because you rub against as you exit the car. It did on my previous 04 model towards it's 3rd year and I justed shaved it off.

I know that rub tests are performed on car fabrics during development and are probably tested as part of QC.

As the car is only 6 months old I do not think it should rub already.

Has anyone had the same problem and what was done about it?

you get 1 year on your trim so take it back and see what your dealer can do for you

If I do not get sorted, it would be in hole before three years is up.

The drivers seat is to be replaced. But, guess what, it is being done as a goodwill gesture, as it due to wear and tear, not a manufactoring fault. But they have not even tested the fabric. They are just full of it!!!!!!!!!!!!!
