    Default Had my car on the rollers today...

    @ V-sport's Dyno dynamics setup down in Boldon, Tyne and wear, first of all I've got to say a big thanks to Dave & Dan who run the place, they have a very clean and very professional establishment and are very helpful and knowledgable!

    My car...

    2002 '02 3.2 V6 Elite with 42,000 miles, serviced 2,000 miles ago @ Vauxhall

    Mods: De-restricted airbox, K&N panel filter, Powerflow stainless cat-back exhaust with twin exit pipes

    Result = 219.9 BHP

    Of course that figure is at the fly but it's still a good gain over the manufacturers figure of 208 BHP

    I'm chuffed to say the least, I don't have a scanner but I'll try and take a pic of my graph printout, the BHP line is nice and straight, the torque stays straight and is there all the way to peak power! looks very healthy, Dan (one of the operators) said "I bet it's a killer in 3rd, just floor it and go!"

    Cheers for the comments!

    V-sport are faily new, their place is tucked away in a small industrial estate next to Asda, they have a website though it's in it's construction stages, you can still get the address from their banner though http://www.vsportonline.co.uk/

    Their range is fairly wide in terms of car marques, they deal with anything from a Corsa to Noble's, BMW's ZM coupe, all the big Jap names, whilst I was there they ran a Nissan 300ZX TT and a VX220 and my mates BPU'd Supra TT, they manufacture and fit custom stainless exhaust systems, filter's, throttle bodies, engine conversions, competition prepping, remaps, brake and suspension setup, the list goes on!

    It was an open day so a fair few turned up just for the craic, they also started up their stripped out Corsa B demo car which is running a tuned, fully rebuilt 1.6 16v sport engine on throttle bodies, Dave, the owner took it round the block then stuck it on the rollers, it made 180BHP!!!! it's not finished yet so everything bar the engine is a bit grubby, but Dan informed me once it's ready it'll have the full V-sport vinyl wrap raceing livery on it,

    As it was an open day the run only cost me £30! (usually £35) for an extra £10 they can do the AFR graphs which can also show the boost etc. for turbo cars
