    Default Problem with alarm

Hi just wondered if anyone has had this problem......
    I have a 52 plated Vectra C sri and
when I switch on the ignition I get a warning on the display which says " Check Safeguard".I have tried what the handbook says but it still comes on.Any advice would be apreciated.

    Thanks

if it won't reset as the handbook suggests, then it's a trip to the dealer to see what bodycodes are logged and why the system is throwing a wobbly...

if it won't reset, you could try the homebased ECU reset.....

disconnect the battery on the car for around 15 mins ( this will reset all ecu's to factory settings) then reconnect the battery...

If the fault is still present, you'll still get the message and it'll have to go to the dealers...or, if you're lucky and the fault has 'fixed' itself, then it may stay off..

before you disconnect the battery thou, make sure you have the radio code in case it decides to ask for it..
