What the f**k was that???

Coming home Thursday night at a slightly spirited rate of knots I heard a huge bang and had obviously run over something on the road (unlit dual carriageway).
I didn't see anything in the road so I thought that whatever I had just run over had probably been spat over from the opposite side of the road
I slowed my pace for a little while just to check no serious damage had been done (puncture etc) but could feel nothing wrong so resumed my velocity.

Imagine my surprise at looking at the car the next morning to find nothing where I once had an Irmscher front splitter

The plastic it fits to is all torn and messy as well, must have come off one corner, got run over by one wheel which ripped the rest off.

Don't you just hate it when things like that happen!!

No way was I stopping on that road, it was pitch black, I have a black car and it was pretty busy.
I would have been under someones wheels myself in seconds.

I remeber when Ian C, jonno and me were on the M6 at about 70mph, When jonno lost the strip that covers the rail for the roof rack, I belive he went back and found it.

Yep have done this myself in the "Vectaru" managed to get the 3 pieces and put it back together though !!!!!
