That is seriously quick for a road car round there!
That is one awsome motor I won't one I think it hit 300kph witch work's out to 186.4114mph not bad
Was that the stig!? haha thats nothing on the playstation on gt3 I hit under 7 mins in the polyphony lol! Seriously though that is swift, what did Spoons do it in, in the trouser soiling quick session?
steve was 10 mins 02 i think...i know he smashed the target time of clarkson..
thats 2 mins 20 seconds slower, that equates to a third of the course to that beast lol!!
nope...
10 mins 04 Seconds was my VERY FIRST lap time (having NEVER been on the ring before)... and it was also timed incorrectly.
I found out, when I got back, that you should start the timer from the first bridge to the last gantry. When I got my 10 mins 04 seconds, Diana (my wife) started the timer from when the barrier went up... which was loads too early (but we didnt know any different at the time).. and then the timer was stopped at the gantry.
So... my 'trouser soiling' session was with AndyVec and we didnt time that run... cos we were too busy trying to keep the car on the track... and just plain forgot.
If I ever take the VXRD back on the ring... I will time the next session and take someone with me who isnt going to squeal all the way round....
EDIT: Looking at the GT-R Video, he did the FULL circuit which we are not allowed to do on public open days. The back straight is not open to the public, so everyone uses the back straight to cool the car down before coming off the track. This means the GT-R is much quicker if you time it the way everyone else does..
