    Vehicle : Insignia

    Trim : SRi Nav

    Engine : CDTI158

    Year : 2012

    Default Goodyear F1's

Put a new set of F1's on the front today, only because that is all they had in stock. I was going to get Michelins.

I guess they will wear out quickly because they seem like a sport oriented tyre but I have to say, they make the front end of the car much more sure footed than my previous set. Much better to drive.

Early days yet for me - what do other people think of these tyres?

They're an old design now, been replaced by the Eagle F1 Asymetric.

But, that said, there's a lot of people swear by the F1.

Personally I wasn't fussed, I get better grip and wear from the Bridgestone RE050. On my 3rd set of those now, been very happy with them.

Mine lasted 25000 miles easily on the front of my SRi Diesel.

Fantastic tyres, better all rounder than the overpriced frenchies!!

As fitted to Mrs GSi's V6 signum.....far far superior tyre to the conti's that are on my GSi...the Goodyears seem to be lasting really well as well....

Only the cost!! Otherwise I'd consider having them on mine!

Refuse to give France too much of my money!!

Joking aside though, the Eagle F1's are just superb. If I could swap my conti's for a set now, I'd have someones arm off!

found them noisy on mine... but great grip and handling wet and dry...if you shop around you can get 2 fitted for less than 180 if u play some of the tyre places off!
