    Default DIY Wheel Repairs....

    Would you repair your wheels yourself?

    Just scouring ebay whilst bored and found this.

    What do you reckon, Can repairing wheels be that simple??

    I've heard of people doing it themselves, bit of wet sanding, can of star silver and some laquer. Personally I wouldn't do it myself....

    How long would it last, thats my main worry. Would it just fall off after a week.

    I kirbed mine last week and just painted over the scrape with star silver. Can hardly notice it!!

    For £15 it has to be worth a try in my opinion, especially if you only had light scuff marks. Much cheaper than having a refurb done, if it works!

    im goin to have a go on my 19's i think. they need doin, and if i make a bit of a mess, ill just get a proper job done.
    ill be practicing on a spare set of wheels first, lol.
