Angry False switching of CD 30 FM band in London area

When tuned to Capital on 95.8 MHz, my CD 30 switches by itself to Invicta on 103.1 MHz for 10 secs or so as I drive then switches back. It does this every trip and is definitely not the result of TP switching.

I have reported this problem to a dealer but they could not find the problem on the premises, so I intend to ask them to take the car for a test drive.

Any other sufferers out there and if so have you had the problem solved? I ask in case this is a stock fault and simple substitution of the set will not provide a solution.

Is it an AF problem? Can't remember off the top of my head if the CD30 has AF, but try turning it off if it does.

RDS issue with regional tuning, switch both off and it will cure it.

Tried that combination, no success. And I would be forever turning off RDS which reappears on programme change.
    Thanks anyway.

Apologies! You were correct in advising REG off and RDS off. However, although REG off can be programmed into the station setting, RDS off cannot and it is irritating (and distracting) to have to keep reselecting it.

    Thanks!
