Default If you already have a VXR rear bumper...

How do you remove the insert?

I bought a damaged VXR rear bumper at the beginning of the year, I.E a small crack and a few scratches, the delivery driver ****ed it by picking it up by the insert but I wasn't there at the time of delivery (got delivered to my work place)

I was going to repair it but have now decided that for the price of a brand new VXR insert it's not worth the hassle repairing this one, so does anyone know how to remove it, it seems to be bonded in really well!!

Yeah I'm sure it's bonded on, and not designed to be removed.

No they just clip on to the SRi bumper. I don't know if there is a way to remove it and if you did remove it I imagine you'd have to bond the new one on as there won't be any clips.

The problem is mate that the VXR insert just clips into the bumper but if you have the full rear skirt that goes right round the bumper and over the insert that parts bonded on so it means that you can't take off the insert as the full skirt is bonded over the top of it!
