The Astra TwinTop we're looking at for SWMBO has a similar size boot with the roof up. Huge! But the roof needs somewhere to go.

Even with the roof down TBH it wasn't tiny, just anything stored has to fit below a cargo net, nothing funny shaped etc. but your not going to lugging awkward stuff about all the time, and if you are, roof goes up!
However, its not the best looker with the roof up! - The Astra and the Volvo C70 get the vote for that!
