    Default 2007/2008 Meet Idea's....

Right, Planning ahead a little it now, looking forward to whats left of 2007 and all of 2008 and some cracking meets right thru the year...

Anyone got any suggestion's of anywhere they've seen, been to, or just think would be a laugh.. I have some idea's of my own, but with you lot being my "Eyes in the Sky" in your local area, i'm gonna ask for Feedback and idea's from you guy's too.

Basically anywhere that falls into the following mapped area would be given consideration. Its not got to be central to the area, as most of us dont mind travelling to meets..

    So come on, suggestion's please.....

How many garages does it have?

It's getting a bit wet and cold for outside meets now, what is there to do inside?

Just had a flick through their website Glynn..

Certainly a possibilty for next year, dont think it would be too enjoyable in the winter months though.

    Well:

    1) I'll reissue my recommendation for Duxford Imperial War Museum:
The Imperial War Museum at Duxford has established itself as an excellent venue for all sizes of Car Club meetings. From social meetings to large-scale events, Duxford can offer an exciting and enjoyable day out to all.

    2) Thetford Forest
High Lodge is a bit expensive to get in but there's lots of parking space, space for games, woodland walks and the Go Ape course if booked in advance. There are scattered free car parks in remote parts of Thetford Forest but this would take some researching.

    3) Aldeburgh
On the Suffolk Coast, Aldeburgh has a superb raised gravel beachside road for excellent photo opportunities. Traditional seaside town with the worlds best Fish & Chips, a pebbly beach and good pubs. No arcades!

    4) Freeport, Braintree
Vec-C WAGS can go shopping at the Designer Village while the rest of us compare cars in the ample car park.

....I'll try to think of some more!
