You could try running the standard speakers off an amp , they aint bad , and acousticaly matched to the car , although pioneer to a set of Q series speakers designed for vauxhall , i amped the standard speakers in my c-max and was quite surprised , they sounded brilliant , had HPF set to 60ish hz though so they didnt have to do serious bass , the sub looked after that.

For speakers i used Alpine Type R 16.5 cm all round, fronts were component but rears normal. Pretty much went straight in they came with an adaptor that fitted well but did cut the door hole slightly as they are (_) shaped door holes (Had a rattle and this had caused it but dont think it did - so prob not needed).

As for Amp you may as well stick with kenwood then you can get the link lead so all amp settings can be adjusted by the head unit which is usefull. I wish i had done this as got the older DDX-6027 unit but all amps etc are Alpine so cant adjust them from screen

Sounds good though (Apart from boot rattle)

heard bout the leads an the kenwood setup for adjusting the settings, sounds quite cool. you could probably fit nearly ne speakers to your doors n e gud car audio retailer shud do adapters, i know the one i use does, bout 15 r 20 quid, they screw in then screw the speaker to them, i had to make my own thou, put in slighty bigger an deeper speakers, polk momo, competition stuff lol, then 6x9s on shelf, no need to worri bout adapters lol
