2.0T - What's it worth?

A mate of mine is coming to the end of his company car contract. He has been offered his car at a reasonable price I think, what do you think.

54 plate SRI 2.0T 78,000 on the clock.
Standard all apart from the 19" Wheels.

It had a new engine at 45k due to him driving into a flooded ford.

Good standard spec, better than mine was on '05 plate (when they were saving some money)

What's it worth?

thats what VX reckon.....add about £1200 for a private sale...

He has been offered it a £4300. I though that was a bargain but it seems it's about the same as they could look to get for it at auction.

I tried the parkers guide online but couldn't find the model.

they normally dispose of cars at auction prices .. it avoids the prep costs for them...TBH, £4.3K doesn't seem that bad a price on it..

If he knows the history (as it is his own car he should do) then £4300 is a good price Tell him to get it bought, then get him on here
