    Just Velcro here too and has been fine for over a year and i can remove it if needed although still a good boot left.

    If you use velcro just make sure you use good quality stuff coz a friend of mine had his sub box velcroed in the boot of his Astra and was involved in a 50mph smash that resulted in the box becoming an unguided missile which hit the back of the rear seat cracking the metal! The insurance assessor reckoned it was lucky nobody was sitting in the back at the time as they would've felt it! I think the velcro was cheap and nasty stuff! He now bolts his sub boxes down! I personally would screw the amp down for the above reason!

    im back to running my cdc40 opera with sub channel enabled running into this fella in the compartment on the drivers side , after hating it , ive played with the settings etc and it now sounds very good , no punchy bass though but does drop quite deep
